After many years of homeschooling, having successfully graduated her older children in 2018 and 2023, Brenda found herself with just one student left in her homeschool. ​As they were adjusting to their smaller homeschool, Brenda's husband lost his job of nearly 24 years. From there, they embarked on an adventure of opening their own business--a transition that caused many changes in their lives!

With more time on her hands, yet still needing to focus on homeschooling their youngest child, Brenda decided to take the approach from Titus 2:4-5.

     Then they can urge the younger women to love their husbands

    and children, to be self-controlled and pure, to be busy at home,

    to be kind, and to be subject to their husbands, so that no one

    will malign the word of God.

So, she decided to do whatever she could to help their family, while still staying home and focusing on their family. Her love of writing turned into being a published author. The soap she had been making for years because of her daughter's allergies turned into soap for customers. The baked goods she had perfected over years of dealing with food allergies and special diets became blessings for her customers too.
